Sadie Amara Calvano is an actor from America who gained attention as the character Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom 'Mom'. Calvano was born in California and was first attracted to gymnastics. But, she chose to make a move acting. She made her screen debut in the year 2010 with an episode of the CBS show "NCIS". The biographical crime film J Edgar was her big screen debut one year after. She became one of the top young actors in the industry over the next few several years. In 2011, she received a nomination to the Young Artist Award, Best performance by an Actor in the Younger Years of Actress on a TV Series for her role in the show "NCIS". In 2013, her performance as a special guest in the comedy series 'Kickin The 'It'' received her nomination yet again for a Young Artist Award. Calvano was featured in a variety of episodes of "Mom" in the 4th season. She was the primary role in the initial three seasons of the show. In 2015, she won the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her performance in Mom.
